Website Operations Specialist
This marketer will work across several branded websites and hold a keen eye toward conversion optimization and overall web SEO. They will play a key role in bringing to life our integrated marketing strategy while monitoring the web effectiveness of those strategies. Manage the Company’s ecommerce website through creating, maintaining, and monitoring product listings and related content.
You will identify and implement opportunities to effectively reach and engage our target markets while promoting our products and the organization. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to utilize your programming skills in a result focused, team oriented, and deadline driven production environment.
What You'll Do
- Manage day-to-day website operations including updates, maintenance, and changes necessary to enhance the user experience.
- Find, diagnose, and fix web site problems, including broken links typographical errors, and formatting inconsistencies.
- Optimize overall website (SEO) & associated content for increased traffic and conversion.
- Conduct thorough keyword research, market research, and competitive research to create high-performing SEO campaigns to identify target keywords and optimize website content.
- Use metrics platforms to analyze website usage statistics and identify KPl's.
- Provide monthly SEO reports for senior management.
- Improve user interface/experience (UX/UI) where needed and/or requested.
- Identifying UI/UX opportunities to enhance website(s).
- Improve landing page conversion rates with content testing and/or A B testing.
- Work with marketing, sales, and IT to plan and develop site content, style and appearance.
- Interact with engineering teams to ensure proper product information is displayed.
- Assist with writing, editing, and creating new blogs and various web projects.
- Assist with the continued growth of online social media communications.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in search engine algorithms.
- Identify and manage issues such as copyright and data protection as needed.
- Able to connect tools and systems to website for best automation of target goals.
- Manage the companies PPC spending for optimal results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or IT or equivalent work experience in related area
- Experience with web content management systems (Kentico and Shopify preferred)
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and ASPX web technologies
- Strong SEO/PPC & keyword research capacity (Google Analytics, SEM Rush, Zoom Info)
- Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite {Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
