Software Apprentices at BRIO learn the in’s and out’s of a tech-focused company through a part-time, paid apprenticeship with the possibility of an extension or full-time position upon completion. BRIO Apprentices work in a fast-paced office environment with a team of tech experts and will have the opportunity to learn about how we discover, manage, and develop projects—and then apply those skills by building pieces of real-world projects for our clients.

Responsibilities

1. Developing user interfaces for web and software apps;

1. Writing HTML & CSS for use in various web projects;

1. Implementing and configuring Salesforce instances;

1. Conducting quality assurance testing;

1. Documenting processes and projects;

1. Coding in C#, MVC, and other Microsoft technologies;

1. Managing and migrating data.

1. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

1. A keen interest in breaking into technology;

1. A solid grasp of HTML & CSS;

1. An understanding of the current technology ecosystem;

1. The ability to solve complex problems with minimal oversight;

1. An eye for design;

1. Familiarity with Salesforce and content management systems (WordPress, Shopify) is a big plus.
