As Pivot’s Social Media Manager, you will own our social media strategy, ensuring that our design and development expertise is effectively communicated to prospective clients, partners, and the broader e-commerce community. You’ll craft compelling content, drive engagement, and position Pivot as a thought leader in the Shopify Plus space.
Responsibilities
Content Strategy: Develop and implement a social media content calendar that aligns with Pivot’s brand voice, industry trends, and marketing objectives.
Platform Management: Manage Pivot’s presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and other relevant platforms, optimizing content for audience engagement and growth.
Discovery: Identify and list PIVOT on industry relevant platforms to increase Agency exposure.
Content Creation: Collaborate with designers, developers, and leadership to create posts, videos, and stories that showcase Pivot’s projects, expertise, and culture.
Community Engagement: Actively engage with our online community by responding to comments, sharing insights, and fostering relationships with followers and industry influencers.
Performance Analysis: Track and report on social media KPIs, providing insights and recommendations for optimizing campaigns and content.
Industry Awareness: Stay current on Shopify Plus trends, e-commerce developments, and competitor strategies to keep Pivot at the forefront of the industry.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, design, and leadership teams to align social media efforts with broader branding and business goals.
Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years managing social media for a D2C and B2B, design, development, or tech company.
Platform Expertise: Deep knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter, with the ability to identify opportunities on emerging platforms.
Creative Skills: Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) and a strong visual storytelling ability.
Analytical Skills: Experience analyzing social media performance metrics and adapting strategies based on insights.
Communication Skills: Exceptional writing and communication skills with a keen understanding of B2B and D2C audiences.
E-Commerce Knowledge: Familiarity with Shopify Plus and the e-commerce landscape is a strong plus.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively while staying detail-oriented.
Public Relations: Experience writing press releases and announcement placements through industry outlets is a strong plus.
