Senior Director of E-Commerce

to lead these initiatives and further optimize our digital strategy.

The

Senior Director of E-Commerce

will be a

hands-on leader

who drives

revenue growth

most senior roles within the company’s e-commerce division

, responsible for leading strategic planning, overseeing daily operations, and delivering results.

The ideal candidate will bring

deep expertise in Adobe Commerce, Amazon FBA/FBM, and Shopify Plus

, paired with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external

digital agencies

to execute a cutting-edge e-commerce strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  1. Lead the development and execution of the

e-commerce strategy

, focused on growing B2B and B2C sales, improving operational efficiencies, and driving customer satisfaction.

  1. Manage relationships and projects with

three external digital agencies

, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational priorities.

  1. Oversee and optimize

Adobe Commerce (Magento)

,

Amazon FBA/FBM

, and

Shopify Plus

to enhance scalability, functionality, and performance.

Hands-On Operations Management

  1. Hands-on leadership
  2. of day-to-day e-commerce operations, including platform performance, product listings, order processing, and customer experience.

  1. Collaborate with IT and logistics teams to ensure seamless integration of e-commerce platforms with ERP (VAI S2K) and WMS (BFC Dakota) systems.
  1. Work directly with the team and digital agencies to address and resolve technical issues on Adobe Commerce and Amazon.

Revenue Generation & Customer Experience

  1. Drive

revenue-generating initiatives

such as SEO, paid advertising, conversion rate optimization, and marketplace strategies on Amazon FBA/FBM.

  1. Lead efforts to improve search rankings, product visibility, and customer satisfaction on Amazon while maintaining top-tier seller ratings.
  1. Enhance customer experiences across all platforms through real-time inventory updates, personalized marketing, and seamless navigation.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  1. Leverage analytics tools and predictive AI to track and improve KPIs such as traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and fulfillment efficiency.
  1. Develop pricing, demand forecasting, and promotional strategies based on actionable insights from data.

Leadership & Collaboration

  1. Build and lead a cross-functional team while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  1. Mentor team members to elevate their skills and ensure operational excellence across e-commerce functions.
  1. Act as a senior-level liaison with

digital agencies

, ensuring their work aligns with the company's strategic objectives and operational needs.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  1. Education

  2. Bachelor’s degree in E-Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  1. Experience

  2. + 10+ years of experience in e-commerce leadership roles with

    extensive hands-on experience

    in

    Adobe Commerce (Magento)

    and

    Amazon FBA/FBM

    .

    + Proven ability to collaborate with and manage external

    digital agencies

    to drive e-commerce growth.

    + Demonstrated success in scaling B2B and B2C e-commerce platforms.

  1. Technical Expertise

  2. + Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Commerce (Magento), Shopify Plus, and Amazon FBA/FBM.

    + Strong understanding of ERP and WMS integrations and their role in e-commerce fulfillment.

    + Hands-on troubleshooting experience with technical and operational issues on e-commerce platforms.
