**About the Role**
As a Senior Accountant, you will be pivotal in managing our financial operations. You will maintain accurate financial records, oversee accounts payable, company credit cards, and international payroll accounting, and analyze financial metrics to support strategic decision-making.
**What You'll Do**
- Bookkeeping duties
+ Maintain NetSuite and the other accounting tools in our financial tech stack.
+ Oversee A/P: Detail-oriented, able to seek out inconsistencies in billing and inefficiencies.
+ Over see Payroll entries for international entities.
- Other accounting duties
+ Lead the month, quarter, and year-end close processes, conduct ad-hoc analyses, prepare financial statements, and conduct reconciliations to drive strategic decision-making
+ Review and verify the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of reported data
+ Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting information for management and finance teams
+ Establish and implement company-wide accounting policies
+ Excellent verbal and written skills to succinctly convey information to executive leadership
+ Assist in documenting internal processes/controls as well as developing improvements as appropriate
**Who You Are**
- 6+ years of relevant experience. SaaS accounting preferred
- Ability to build and lead strong teams
- Big 4 accounting experience (Nice to have)
- A degree in accounting from a four-year college
- Proficiency with accrual accounting
- Proficiency in NetSuite, advanced Excel skills required, Tipalti, TripActions
- Audit experience is not required, but is highly desired
Nice to have
- Big four accounting experience
- Previous experience at a fast-paced SAAS or start-up company
- CPA (or plans to obtain one)
- Proficiency with Tipalti and/or Netsuite
