POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a full-time Sales Admin Assistant to join our team at our Santa Ana, CA headquarters. The perfect candidate is a personable and energized individual who enjoys working in a team setting and is eager to help whenever and wherever possible. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the CEO and VP of Sales & Merchandising and internal and independent sales representatives. The ideal candidate can take direction well and possesses outstanding communication skills and attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Data entry, entering/managing/updating / processing orders, resolving shipping errors, processing RA’s, inventory requests, customer profile management, etc.
  1. Email communication with promotional/wholesale customers and sales reps
  1. Answering inbound promotional/wholesale customer phone calls and occasionally DTC customers
  1. Organizing/packing/shipping/tracking samples
  1. Assist with sales reporting
  1. Assist with meeting preparation
  1. Tradeshow preparation and attendance
  1. Attain knowledge of Glyder’s history as a brand and our mission, and successfully communicate this message to all customers/accounts
  1. Attain expertise in our catalog of 500+ styles regarding fit, fabrics, and price points.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Must have a positive and strong work ethic and eagerness to help anyone on the team
  1. Must be willing to travel to tradeshows quarterly and occasional meetings with key accounts
  1. Ability to adapt/respond to different types of customers
  1. Superior verbal and written communication skills
  1. Proficient in Gmail Platform and Excel
  1. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  1. Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.

PLUS FACTORS

  1. Knowledge or experience in the fashion and active industries
  1. Experience with NetSuite and Shopify.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Successful candidates are goal-oriented, outgoing, motivated, persuasive, able to multi-task, and possess a desire to learn and grow within the company
  1. Must have ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  1. Experience in apparel/retail (required)
  1. High School Diploma (required)
  1. Bachelor’s Degree- Business (preferred).
