We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join our Quality Team for consumer-packaged goods in our 2nd shift (start time 11am). This entry level position will play a vital role in ensuring that all products meet our rigorous quality standards. This position will involve performing a variety of quality control tests, inspections, and documentation tasks throughout the manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished goods. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, a passion for quality, and a desire to learn and grow within the manufacturing industry.  Key Responsibilities: \\* Inspection and Testing: \\*\\* Perform visual inspections of raw materials, in-process batches, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications. \\*\\* Conduct basic testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Utilize analytical instruments and methodologies accurately and efficiently. \\*\\* Operate and maintain basic laboratory equipment. \\* Documentation: \\*\\* Accurately record all inspection and test results in designated logs and databases. \\*\\* Maintain organized and up-to-date quality control records. \\*\\* Assist in the preparation of batch records and other quality-related documentation. \\* Quality Systems: \\*\\* Identify and report any deviations from quality standards to the Quality Manager or Supervisor. \\*\\* Assist in the investigation of non-conformances and deviations and implementation of corrective actions. \\*\\* Assist in maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment. \\*\\* Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times. \\* Other: \\*\\* Assist other departments as needed, including production and packaging. \\*\\* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. \\*\\* Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:  \\* High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in science-related field preferred.  \\* Strong attention to detail and accuracy. \\* Excellent communication and teamwork skills. \\* Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite). \\* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally. \\* Ability to stand for extended periods. \\* Use of personal protective equipment when necessary.  Skills and Abilities: \\* Familiarity with laboratory testing equipment and methodologies. \\* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. \\* Proficient in data entry and using quality management software. \\* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. \\* Ability to work independently and as part of a team. \\* Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.  Physical Requirements: \\* Ability to stand for extended periods. \\* May require lifting up to 25 pounds. \\* Use of personal protective equipment when necessary.
