Role Overview
The Operations and Logistics Manager will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing our supply chain operations. This individual will manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) partners, develop strategies to improve cost efficiency, and ensure smooth end-to-end supply chain execution. Additionally, this role includes oversight and maintenance of our EDI and inventory systems and collaborating across teams to ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
3PL Management
Develop and manage 3PL relationships, including pricing, agreements, and performance reviews, covering warehousing, distribution, receiving, repacking, and rework services.
Cost Optimization
Create and execute strategies to improve costs from factory to customer.
Compliance and Accuracy
Ensure accurate billing, inventory management, customs compliance, and EDI system maintenance.
Inbound Freight Management
Oversee domestic and international inbound freight, including quotation, documentation, and cost management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Represent Logistics on cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and alignment across the business.
Risk Management
Develop and implement contingency plans to address logistics risks.
System Optimization
Leverage and maintain systems to support business needs. Systems experience with Flexport, Cin7/Dear, and Shopify is a plus.
Customer Compliance
Ensure routing guide compliance for B2B customers and actively manage customer scorecards.
Cost Modeling
Perform end-to-end supply chain landed cost modeling and ensure its accuracy.
Requirements
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in supply chain, engineering, business, or logistics.
- 3–5 years of experience in CPG logistics, with exposure to both DTC and B2B operations.
- Experience working in a fast-paced digitally native startup environment is
strongly preferred
.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance strategic and tactical responsibilities.
- Self-driven
with excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including developing and assessing key metrics and process indicators.
- Familiarity with systems like Flexport, Cin7/Dear, Shopify and TrueCommerce is a plus.
