Position Overview
We are looking for an Operations and Customer Support Specialist to handle key tasks in our ordering, shipping, and customer service processes. This is a critical role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Processing: Manage shoe orders from various retail websites (such as Zappos, Journeys, Nike, etc.), tracking inventory and sizes/genders accurately. Maintain a detailed Excel order form to track thousands of shoes ordered per month.
- Customer Communication: Respond to customer inquiries via email, both for sales (“How much for 200 pairs?”) and service (“What is my order status?”). Provide friendly, professional support that aligns with our brand’s image.
- Order Management: Use online platforms and backend systems like Shopify and ShipStation to process orders. Maintain accuracy while managing multiple systems to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Shipping Coordination: Once orders are packed, ship them according to purchase order instructions, including billing third-party UPS accounts and shipping to the correct addresses. Ensure shipping accuracy to meet customer requirements.
- Production Coordination: Stay updated with our production board, working closely with the team to understand daily production goals and timelines to help meet our customers’ expectations.
