Job Summary

The

NetSuite Data Administrator

will oversee the management and maintenance of company-wide data, with a primary focus on NetSuite as the core system. The role requires ensuring seamless integration between NetSuite and other platforms, such as Shopify, Warehouse Management System (WMS), and a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external system vendors to maintain smooth operations and develop scalable data solutions. This role reports into the Controller.

Duties/Responsibilities

  1. NetSuite Management

  2. Serve as the primary administrator for NetSuite, ensuring its optimal performance, accuracy, and reliability.

  1. System Integration

  2. Oversee the integration between NetSuite and other systems like Shopify, ensuring accurate data flow and troubleshooting as necessary.

  1. Module and Tool Development

  2. Manage the WMS module within NetSuite and act as lead for the creation and integration of a PLM system.

  1. Vendor Collaboration

  2. Act as the primary point of contact with system vendors, including NetSuite, to resolve issues, and maximize the efficiency and use of our systems.

  1. Troubleshooting

  2. Diagnose and resolve database or integration issues promptly to minimize business disruptions.

  1. Documentation

  2. Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for database structures, workflows, integrations, and processes.

  1. System Administration

  2. Manage data management software, including upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

  1. Data Governance

  2. Establish and enforce data governance policies to maintain data quality, integrity, and security across the organization.

  1. Project Management Skills

  2. Manage data projects from planning to implementation, including timelines and resource allocation in conjunction with IT.

  1. Data Reporting and Analysis

  2. Generate actionable reports and insights from NetSuite and related systems for departments.

  1. Compliance Management

  2. Ensure data practices comply with relevant data privacy regulations and industry standards with the Ecomm Team.

Required Skills/Abilities

  1. Familiarity with data integration and middleware tools to support system communication.
  1. Strong technical skills in database technologies (e.g., SQL) and ERP systems.
  1. Excellent problem-solving and project management abilities.
  1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with internal teams and external vendors

Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  1. 3-5 years of experience managing databases, with strong knowledge of NetSuite administration.
  1. NetSuite Certification Preferred
  1. Inventory, garment and luxury B2B and B2C experience highly preferred
  1. Experience with systems like Shopify, WMS and PLM systems is a plus.
