We are seeking an IT Operations Specialist for our client based in Tucson, AZ. This role will be a primary internal IT resource for this growing company and will be responsible for everything from Tier 1 support of desktops, systems and networks up to the implementation of Cyber Security policies, procedures and frameworks. This being identified as a primary focus; the IT Operations Specialist will work closely with their team to implement security measures and maintain the integrity of our information systems.

Responsibilities

·      Drive IT operational initiatives in a growing company, directly supporting the Director in scaling and enhancing IT infrastructure

·      Lead cybersecurity initiatives to protect company IP, customer data, networks, endpoints and other assets

·      Oversee process implementations to streamline operations for remote employees and optimize existing platforms

·      Provide essential IT support, including file system enhancements and implementing CRM and ERP solutions

·      Collaborate with external IT consultants to diagnose and troubleshoot issues, implementing best practices and new processes as needed

·      Manage Google Drive, CRM, ERP, email, and data-sharing platforms, ensuring smooth, secure, and efficient operations

·      Provides exceptional end-user support, with excellent communications and responsive follow through.

·      Supports IT assets and inventory management for both hardware and software.

·      Contributes to documenting IT processes and ensures procedures are well-documented and understood by all users.

·      Troubleshoot and resolve basic network connectivity issues.

Requirements

·      Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required)

·      Minimum of 8 years of IT experience, with a focus on cybersecurity and IP protection

·      Proficient in managing and implementing CRM, ERP, and other IT systems

·      Strong communication skills, able to adapt to a dynamic, startup-style environment

·      Entrepreneurial mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making

·      Experience with platforms such as Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, and Microsoft Office Suite

·      Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Shopify (developer support available)

·      CompTIA A+, Network+ or Security+ preferred but not required

·      Experience with frameworks such as NIST CSF, ITIL, COBIT, or other standard frameworks a plus
