The Director of Information Technology leads the organization's tech strategy, aligning IT with business goals. This role oversees infrastructure, manages complex projects, enhances security, and drives innovation. The Director also leads the IT team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

Duties

  1. Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  1. Oversee data security, governance, and ITGC SOX compliance.
  1. Create and enforce IT policies for access control, duties segregation, and change management.
  1. Manage office technology systems for optimal performance and reliability.
  1. Ensure robust network security to protect sensitive information.
  1. Oversee help desk operations, providing timely support for technical issues.
  1. Lead cloud computing initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  1. Manage database systems, including MongoDB, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  1. Direct project management efforts, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  1. Explore and integrate machine learning solutions to improve business processes.
  1. Oversee vendor relationships and technology partnerships.
  1. Allocate IT resources, set goals, and track performance metrics.
  1. Drive cross-department collaboration to identify technology needs and innovation opportunities.
  1. Maintain knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  1. Ensure infrastructure scalability, security, and resilience.
  1. Implement disaster recovery and IT security plans.
  1. Evaluate, develop, and deploy technical, web, and mobile solutions.

Skills/Abilities

  1. Strategic planning, leadership, and budget management.
  1. Adaptability to change and quick learning of new technologies.
  1. Knowledge of broad technology trends and business alignment.
  1. Experience in software engineering and managing technology risks.
  1. Proficiency in MS Office; fluency in English (Mandarin is a plus).

Education & Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (master’s preferred).
  1. 3–5 years in CTO, VP, or similar leadership roles.
  1. Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite), system migrations, and change management.
  1. Familiarity with Shopify, AWS, OMS, and mobile app development.
  1. Skilled in integrating teams and managing technology projects.

Additional

Travel required up to 30%.
