Inventory and Logistics Manager at A Shop of Things!

A Shop of Things is woman-owned and based in Nashville, TN. We make women's accessories, homegoods, trinkets, anything cute and fun! The Inventory and Logistics Manager plays a key role in digitally organizing and tracking inventory. They act as a liaison between the company and the Third Party Logistics warehouse to ensure all processes are being completed seamlessly. They are also cross-trained in Wholesale Management. 

Inventory Management

*Duties and Responsibilities*

  1. Communicate with 3PL about inventory additions, discrepancies, expected order volume, etc
  1. Create SKUs and Item Listings for all products in Shopify
  1. Responsible for recording Cost of Goods for all inventory
  1. Perform weekly audits and reports on website
  1. Drop off and pick up inventory from the 3PL
  1. Generate weekly inventory reports
  1. Maintain inventory spreadsheets

Logistics Management

*Duties and Responsibilities*

  1. Create and manage Purchase Orders for all incoming shipments per company standard
  1. Inform 3PL of all incoming shipments
  1. Schedule deliveries using 3PL scheduling software
  1. Manage the movement of orders within out order management platform

Wholesale Management

*Duties and Responsibilities*

  1. Check wholesale platforms daily for new orders
  1. Reply to customer messages daily
  1. Approve orders and assign Ship by Date everyday
  1. Manage invoices, payments, and shipping information for all orders
  1. Manage Wholesale Product listings and Catalogs
  1. Make weekly product additions to online catalogs
