E-Commerce Merchandise Assistant & Inventory Analyst

You’ll juggle merchandise planning, product data management, and inventory analysis to ensure our customers have seamless access to our fragrances—all while optimizing sales performance and preventing any hiccups in product availability. Requirements
Merchandise Assistant Tasks (30-40% of the role)
Product Data Management
Ensure product details—descriptions, images, pricing, and specifications—are accurate, timely, and error-free across all online channels.
Catalog Mastery
Maintain and update the online product catalog to ensure products are well-categorized, optimized, and visually appealing.
Launch Coordination
Drive the launch of new products by managing inventory setup, product listings, BOMs (Bills of Materials), and visual merchandising efforts.
Sales-Driven Merchandising
Monitor product placement, highlight best sellers, and ensure seasonal trends are reflected, using KPIs to optimize the online assortment.
Inventory Analyst Tasks (60-70% of the role)
Inventory Monitoring
Track inventory daily across platforms and warehouses to prevent both stockouts and overstocking. Your goal will be achieving a 100% in-stock rate.
Forecasting & Replenishment
Work closely with the supply chain team to forecast demand and manage inventory replenishment at all levels.
New Product Readiness
Build BOMs for new products, generate UPCs, and ensure proper allocations prior to launches.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Generate key inventory and sales performance reports, identify trends, and recommend improvements to optimize sell-through and inventory processes.
Process Optimization
Analyze data to improve KPIs, including weeks of supply, sell-through rates, and more.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product development, sourcing, logistics, customer experience, and buying teams to align inventory and merchandising decisions with broader business goals.
- Provide actionable insights into product trends and availability that will shape promotional strategies and online merchandising plans.
Who You Are

Qualifications
Experience
3 to 5 years in e-commerce merchandising, inventory analysis, or related roles, ideally in a fast-paced online retail environment.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in platforms like Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce, paired with strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, Finale). Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs are a must.
Soft Skills
Excellent organization, communication, and time management. Comfort working independently across multiple time zones (PST and EST).
Eligibility
Authorized to work in the United States and ideally based in the Miami-Dade County area.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience with inventory forecasting, demand planning, and replenishment in an e-commerce or retail merchandising environment.
- Ability to seamlessly manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and nimble work environment.

- This is a full-time, remote work opportunity, but candidates residing in Miami, FL 33122 (or nearby) are highly preferred. Occasional in-office visits may be requested for hands-on projects and team collaboration.
