We're assisting a well-funded, two-year-old startup with their search for full stack engineers. Their product uses AI to create more efficient marketing funnels that allow ecommerce teams to increase sales. The role will be a hybrid role working out of the SF office and they're hiring a handful of engineers in this capacity.
What you'll do
- Architecting and implementing full-stack product features in Typescript/React/Node
- Building AI tools for end-customers to generate new content
- Developing analytics and experimentation products end-to-end
- Creating 3rd-party integrations with platforms like Shopify
- Building payments/billing infrastructure for managing customer use-cases
- Owning multiplayer editor end-to-end, focusing on CRDT and React-performance
- Own our user onboarding flow from end-to-end
What you'll bring
- 1+ years of experience Ideally fast-moving engineer with at least 1 year of experience from an early-stage startup (pre-Series B)
- Experience in fast-paced and ambiguous environments and defining software architecture patterns to solve customer pain points.
- Strong proficiency in Typescript/React/Node.
- Can leverage GPT/Claude/Cursor to accelerate their work.
- Experience building products 0 -> 1 with real users and revenue.
- Has a product and customer-focused mindset.
- Values writing clean, maintainable software, including documentation
Nice to haves
- Previous experience at an early-stage (Series A or earlier) startup
- Has experience being burned by deployment and maintenance issues. If you have a strong opinion on how products should be built, that’s good.
- Former founder, or founding experience
- Experience in and enjoyment of hackathons
- Have an eye for visual design (or past experience in product design, Figma, etc).
