The Specialized Recruiting Group of Charlotte is seeking a fully onsite Front-end Developer to build, maintain, and enhance responsive, user-centered web applications that drive engaging customer experiences. The ideal candidate will use their skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+) to deliver interactive features, collaborating with design and marketing teams to optimize web pages and e-commerce platforms. This role involves managing web layout, graphics, and assets to support campaigns while ensuring SEO and accessibility standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain user-friendly web pages for both external and internal audiences.
- Implement responsive, mobile-first designs using JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue.js, and Next.js.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and stakeholders on project feasibility and execution.
- Optimize web performance, identify bottlenecks, and ensure compliance with SEO standards.
- Manage e-commerce platform updates, email marketing, and digital assets across multiple channels.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins to streamline deployment.
- Support integration with third-party systems and tools as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in front-end web development
- Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+), with experience in frameworks like React, Next.js, or Vue.js
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and content management systems like Shopify or WordPress
- Knowledge of SEO principles, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization
- Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms, such as MailChimp or Klaviyo, is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills to collaborate in cross-functional teams
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency with CSS preprocessors like Sass, PostCSS, and CSS-in-JS libraries
- Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
- Experience in CI/CD tools and automation (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
