Responsible for managing the financial reports of the Westminster Shoppe and the Van Til Snack Bar.

Duties and responsibilities

Essential Functions

1. Shoppe Inventory and Budget (50%)

  1. Prepare monthly Shoppe Inventory Report;
  1. Prepare monthly detailed budget reports (Profit and Loss, Cash Flow);
  1. Submit COGS, Damages and Gift Cards reports to Finance Office;
  1. Manage the records for interdepartmental transfers;
  1. Analyze sales trends;
  1. Manage incoming inventory in stock room;
  1. Prepare and submit monthly credit card statements for Erin;
  1. Consult on Financial matters relating to Shoppe.
  2. 2. Food Service Inventory and Budget (50%)

  1. Prepare the Monthly Van Til Snack Bar Inventory Report;
  1. Prepare monthly detailed budget reports (Profit and Loss, Cash Flow);
  1. Submit COGS and Damages reports to Finance Office;
  1. Analyze sales trends;
  1. Consult on Financial matters relating to Van Til Snack Bar.
  2. Requirements

  1. Excellent oral, written, and communication skills
  1. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Shopify and Square and general technological aptitude
  1. Organizational skills, including ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
  1. Advanced analytical financial skills required
  1. Advanced technical skills required
  1. Good judgment and discretion
  2. Qualifications

  1. Degree in Accounting or related field required
  1. Minimum of five years administrative experience, preferably in an academic environment, required

  1. This job can be remote.
  1. This is a part-time position. Ten hours per week are expected.
