Description
Responsible for managing the financial reports of the Westminster Shoppe and the Van Til Snack Bar.
Duties and responsibilities
Essential Functions
1. Shoppe Inventory and Budget (50%)
- Prepare monthly Shoppe Inventory Report;
- Prepare monthly detailed budget reports (Profit and Loss, Cash Flow);
- Submit COGS, Damages and Gift Cards reports to Finance Office;
- Manage the records for interdepartmental transfers;
- Analyze sales trends;
- Manage incoming inventory in stock room;
- Prepare and submit monthly credit card statements for Erin;
- Consult on Financial matters relating to Shoppe.
2. Food Service Inventory and Budget (50%)
- Prepare the Monthly Van Til Snack Bar Inventory Report;
- Prepare monthly detailed budget reports (Profit and Loss, Cash Flow);
- Submit COGS and Damages reports to Finance Office;
- Analyze sales trends;
- Consult on Financial matters relating to Van Til Snack Bar.
Requirements
Skills
- Excellent oral, written, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Shopify and Square and general technological aptitude
- Organizational skills, including ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Advanced analytical financial skills required
- Advanced technical skills required
- Good judgment and discretion
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or related field required
- Minimum of five years administrative experience, preferably in an academic environment, required
- Supervisory experience

Working conditions
- This job can be remote.
- This is a part-time position. Ten hours per week are expected.
