Job Overview
We are a
fast-growing eCommerce company
operating two distinct brands through
Shopify and Amazon
. The majority of our revenue comes from Shopify, with customer acquisition driven by
Facebook & Google ads
, alongside smaller advertising channels like influencer marketing, Applovin, and affiliate marketing.
We are seeking a
highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst
to help us
organize and optimize our financial operations, improve cash flow management, and provide strategic financial insights
to support business growth. The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial planning, cost analysis, and inventory funding strategies while working directly with the founders to ensure financial transparency and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Develop
financial models, forecasts, and budgets
to support business strategy.
- Analyze
financial data, revenue streams, and operational expenses
to identify trends and opportunities.
- Conduct
variance analysis
to compare actual performance with projections.
Financial Operations & Bookkeeping
- Organize financial records across multiple business entities.
- Oversee
cash inflows from multiple payment processors
across different entities.
- Assist in implementing
Finaloop
to improve bookkeeping and financial management.
Cash Flow & Budget Management
- Develop strategies to
optimize cash flow
and ensure sufficient liquidity.
- Advise on
cash reserves needed
to support the business during seasonal fluctuations.
- Work closely with founders to
allocate budgets for product development, hiring, and expansion
.
Inventory & Marketing Budget Alignment
- Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to
align inventory planning with sales growth projections
.
- Ensure
adequate funding for inventory procurement
, especially during peak holiday seasons.
- Help manage financial constraints when inventory costs exceed available cash.
Financial Strategy & Growth Optimization
- Identify
cost-saving opportunities
and areas for improved financial efficiency.
- Assist in securing
loans or alternative financial solutions
to support business expansion.
- Evaluate high monthly expenditures to enhance profitability and scalability.
Collaboration & Strategic Advisory
- Work
directly with the founders
to provide actionable financial insights.
- Develop
strategic financial recommendations
to support long-term business growth.
- Assist in setting up financial structures for a potential
new office in Aventura
.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in
Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
.
- 2+ years of experience
in financial analysis, accounting, or eCommerce finance.
- Strong proficiency in
financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
.
- Experience with
financial software (Google Sheets, QuickBooks, Finaloop, etc.)
.
- Understanding of
eCommerce business models, Shopify, Amazon, and digital marketing finance
.
- Ability to manage financial operations across
multiple business entities and payment processors
.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with
founders and key stakeholders
.
