SUMMARY
The Director of E-Commerce will own the Elemis.com direct to consumer business with a focus on maximizing sales, conversion, and content. This position will drive strategy in collaboration with cross functional leaders in Marketing, PR, Operations, etc. with direct responsibility over site CRM, sales, experience, performance & analytics as well as operations. This position reports to the Vice President of Digital Channels.
Essential Responsibilities
Responsibilities
* Lead weekly/monthly digital reporting to the executive team and monitor and report daily trends, revenue, product performance, inventory and optimization opportunities to wider US team
- Create and manage content and CRM strategy & marketing/promotional calendar for elemis.com
- Develop promotions, GWPs, Online Exclusives, and site experiences that deliver monthly and annual revenue goals
- Manage the creative brief and delivery process for site promotions, new product launches, and new site features
- Own content and day-today operations on elemis.com and ensure quality customer experience
- Partner closely with Senior Director, Media to drive paid media performance
- Partner with Brand/Channel Marketing & Operations for new product launches and ongoing stock. Communicate clear dates and forecasts for launches and promotions
- Drive site experience and strategy roadmap in partnership with Head of Digital IT, providing an end-to-end omni-client journey for our site and ensure best in class shopping and brand experiences are offered
- Manage Associate Manager, E-Commerce and Associate Manager, Customer Journey (CRM), developing their skillset and driving growth in the channel
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Characteristics
* Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
- 7+ years in B2C E-Commerce
- Experience in Magento, Shopify, Google Analytics, HTML/CSS, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Social Media, Integrations
- Proven business strategy, planning, analytical, complex problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Strong collaborative skills including leadership; ability to set vision and strategy across a variety of functions, inspire and motivate cross functional partners and key stakeholders.
- Ecommerce performance marketing and merchandising exposure with strong understanding of key levers and opportunities.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain relationships with business partners across several business matrices.
- Ability to balance client experience, business needs, and resources to ensure correct prioritization of cross-functional work.
- Highly agile and able to execute while dealing with ambiguity.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of consumer mindset/ consumer orientation.
- Proactive, flexible, and hard working.
\\*The salary range for this role is $140,000 to $160,000 annually.
