Role Description
The Ecommerce Specialist will be responsible for managing online sales platforms (DTC and marketplaces), implementing marketing strategies, optimizing the user experience, handling customer inquiries, and analyzing data/trends to drive profitable revenue and share growth.
Hands-on experience in digital commerce and marketing, along with proven experience and knowledge of Shopify or BigCommerce, Amazon Seller Central, and Email, Search, and Social platforms are required.
Responsibilities
- Create, Audit, Maintain, and Update Product listings, pricing, and advertising across Marketplaces (Amazon - a must; Others – a plus)
- Lead, plan and manage Seller Central and Vendor Central catalogue, pricing and benchmarking, cases, account health, buyer messaging, orders, returns, invoicing etc.
- Utilize data analytics tools to gather and analyze data related to sales, gross margins, inventory, pricing, competition, customer behavior, trends, and opportunities to increase conversion and market penetration.
- Ideate, Execute, Optimize, and Report digital marketing campaigns (organic and paid) - E-Mail, SEO, Search, Social, digital merchandising, discounts, product detail page execution, and advertising e.g. display, video, copy, graphics, user generated content etc.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to Forecast demand and adjust inventory plans to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in managing Own Website and Amazon.
- Advanced Excel knowledge, project management, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Digital marketing experience; specifically Email, Search, and Social.
- Ability to create campaigns and content (graphics, copy, video using Adobe or Canva).
- Strong attention to detail and Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Skills and Expertise
E-commerce
Managing and developing a commercial company’s e-commerce shop with documented superior results. Preferably with an excellent understanding of and experience with
Shopify or BigCommerce
.
Amazon
Experience working with consumer products within Amazon’s ecosystem. Exceptional understanding of funnel strategies, keyword optimization, content and pricing optimization, and tactics, and search within Amazon. Experience with other third-party online marketplaces such as Walmart, Target+, Mirakle etc. is also beneficial.
Email Marketing Proficiency
Excellent proficiency in engaging and enabling order frequency of high-value customers via relevant and compelling content, promotions etc. Preferably with an excellent understanding of and experience with
Mailchimp or Klaviyo
.
SEO
Proficient in SEO, including content creation, external/internal links, and technical SEO (page experience, tracking, sitemaps etc.).
Paid Search Proficiency
Excellent proficiency in paid search within Amazon advertising portal as well as external analytics platforms, such as
Google and Bing
Analytics and Google Shop.
Social media
Proficiency in creating content and leveraging social media to build brand awareness and drive traffic. Preferably with an excellent understanding of and experience with
Meta or TikTok
.
