We're a fast-growing power tools company seeking an analysis-driven E-commerce Specialist to join our Chicago-based team to further our D2C growth across North America, including the launch of new Canadian & Mexican D2C websites and continue the accelerated growth of our existing US website. Qualified candidates must demonstrate strong analytical skills and experience growing/scaling a D2C eCommerce business.

Primary Responsibilities include day-to-day management of each of our D2C websites within North America (US, Canada, and Mexico) which include
E-Commerce Management and Optimization
- Shopify Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of Shopify to manage a high-performing online store (USA store).
- Support the development of our new D2C websites in Canada and Mexico.
- Implement strategies to continuously improve KPIs like: Average order value (AOV), conversion rate, customer lifetime value (LTV), etc.
- Analyse key metrics (sales, traffic, conversion, etc.) and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Regularly audits & troubleshoots site issues.
- Weekly, monthly, and annual KPI development and reporting.
- Develop & implement CRO strategies.
- Compliance and Legal Requirements: Ensures compliance with relevant laws (e.g., CCPA) and industry guidelines.
Sales
- Success will be measured by exceeding the sales and profitability targets of our website and marketplaces.
- Develop, execute, and maintain monthly trading plans across D2C for North America.
- Cross-functional liaison between D2C, Retail, and Industrial channels to plan and execute online promotions and new product launches.
Inventory & Sales Forecasting
- Maintain accurate inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstocking for the D2C channels.
- Analyze historical sales data and market trends to forecast new products/potential products.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience working within Shopify or comparable eCommerce platform (Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Oracle CommerceCloud).
- Proven experience managing Inventory/Sales forecasts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel that includes:
- Using VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Concatenate to build reports and tables
- Analyzing and summarizing the results to present to management and executive leadership.
- Strong understanding of Google Analytics (GAU or GA4), TripleWhale, or similar eCommerce KPI Platform.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce KPIs: AOV, LTV, CVR, Website Traffic, etc.
- Project management skills to manage workload, meet deadlines, and protect the priorities!
- Proven track record of achieving sales growth and meeting or exceeding targets in an e-commerce environment.
Bonus Points
- Experience managing ecommerce business in Canada or Mexico.
- Written fluency in Spanish and/or French.
- Experience with A/B testing tools (Google Optimize Tool, AB Tasty, Optimizely, etc.)
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS
Working hours
- This is a full-time Hybrid role (3 Days in-office, 2 Days Work-from-home) with standard working hours Monday through Friday from 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
