E-Commerce Product & Digital Marketing Specialist

to join our founding team and help us revolutionize the way people cook, create, and shop online. If you’re ready to make a difference while doing what you love, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Product Listing & Optimization

  1. Create, edit, and manage product listings on Shopify, eBay, Etsy, and other sales channels.
  1. Write compelling, keyword-rich product descriptions to enhance SEO and increase visibility.
  1. Regularly update product details such as pricing, stock availability, SEO, landing pages, and promotions.
  1. Conduct competitor analysis to ensure competitive positioning of products.

SEO & Marketing

  1. Implement SEO strategies to optimize product listings for search engines and internal search functions.
  1. Research and identify high-performing keywords to incorporate into product titles and descriptions.
  1. Manage Google Ads campaigns, including keyword research, ad copywriting, and performance tracking.
  1. Development of and implementation of landing page programs.

Photography & Content Creation

  1. Oversee photographers and/or take high-quality photographs of products for use in listings and marketing materials.
  1. Edit images to ensure they are visually appealing and meet platform-specific requirements.
  1. Assist with the production and uploading of social media content to drive traffic and engagement.

Advertising & Social Media

  1. Develop and execute advertising strategies across platforms such as Google, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.
  1. Schedule and manage posts on social media channels to promote products and campaigns.
  1. Track and report on the performance of advertising and social media campaigns.

Data & Analytics

  1. Monitor and analyze e-commerce performance metrics, including traffic, conversion rates, and ad performance.
  1. Use insights to refine strategies and improve results across all sales channels.

General Support

  1. Collaborate with the team to ensure cohesive branding and messaging across all platforms.
  1. Stay updated on industry trends and platform updates to maintain best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

E-Commerce Platforms

  1. Proficiency in Shopify, eBay, Etsy, and other relevant e-commerce platforms.
  1. Experience in product listing, inventory management, and platform-specific optimization.

SEO & Digital Marketing

  1. Strong knowledge of SEO principles and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs).
  1. Proven experience managing Google Ads and social media advertising campaigns.
  1. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve performance.

Photography & Content Creation

  1. Experience with product photography, including the use of lighting and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or Canva).
  1. Ability to write creative, engaging product descriptions and social media captions.

Social Media Management

  1. Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, or Later) and best practices for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

Other Skills

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  1. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  1. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  1. Knowledge of affiliate or influencer marketing is a plus.
  1. Positive can do personality that can work within a small business is a must.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  1. 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related role.
  1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools.
  1. A passion for e-commerce and staying up-to-date on industry trends.
