Position Summary
Momentous is seeking an E-Commerce Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our digital storefront, ensuring the site is optimized to deliver a seamless and engaging customer experience. This role is a tactical driver for our web operations, supporting design and development through technical expertise, project management, and operational execution.
This position reports into the Director of E-Commerce and plays a pivotal role in translating strategic initiatives into actionable, measurable results. The ideal candidate will be highly technically proficient, with expertise in Shopify (headless experience a plus), Prismic, Recharge, project management systems like Asana, and will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
:
Site Operations Management:
* Oversee daily site operations, including content updates, product catalog management, and resolving technical issues to ensure a flawless user experience.
- Identify and implement merchandising updates, maintain the health of the site, and execute content changes according to campaign schedules.
- Manage the development queue, coordinating deliverables with internal teams and external development partners.
Project Management:
- Oversee the development queue, ensuring timely completion of technical updates and bug fixes.
- Manage website requests and workflows, aligning cross-functional priorities between marketing, design, and development teams to meet deadlines and business goals.
- Act as the central point of coordination for project deliverables, keeping stakeholders informed and maintaining project timelines.
- Communicate updates effectively to stakeholders and ensure alignment across departments.
Content Implementation:
- Execute landing page updates and content sweeps, ensuring all assets are collected, deployed, and aligned with marketing campaigns and business objectives.
- Handle app integrations and manage updates to enhance functionality and optimize performance.
Technical Optimization:
- Maintain site health by monitoring and addressing performance issues such as site speed, accessibility, and subscription interface optimizations via Recharge.
- Work with developers to prioritize and resolve bugs, ensuring the site remains technically sound.
Customer Experience Enhancement:
- Support efforts to optimize the user experience, including product presentation, navigation, and subscription processes, aligning with Momentous’s commitment to excellence.
- Monitor site analytics and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and drive conversion.
Qualifications
:
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Shopify (headless experience preferred), experience in Prismic, and Recharge; comfortable with app integrations and technical solutions.
- Project Management: Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. Asana or other project management software experience is a must.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive in identifying and addressing site issues; experience in site maintenance and bug resolution.
- Communication: Clear and effective communicator, able to coordinate with cross-functional teams and external developers.
- E-Commerce Experience: 5+ years of experience in an e-commerce environment; subscription-based business experience is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Highly detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all site updates and content.

Location
:
This position is a hybrid role in-person located in either our Santa Monica, CA or Park City, UT office, and requires travel quarterly. Relocation support to be provided if needed.
