You are inventive, analytical, endlessly curious and a fan of lifelong learning. You will work side-by-side with experienced Industry professionals from Calvin Klein and Victoria's Secret to launch an exciting new online lingerie and loungewear e-commerce site backed by stellar investors and experienced high-profile talent.
As the Director of Digital Product Management, you'll use your e-commerce, technology and DTC experience to work directly with CTO and CEO in defining, planning and executing an innovative and high performance digital shopping experience that delights our customers and builds our brand. Working closely with key stakeholders and the engineering teams you will play a critical role in setting direction for our online customer experience across multiple channels and platforms. You will have an opportunity to help build a world class DTC brand from the ground up, initially as the sole product owner of the digital experience and eventually building and leading a high performing team of product professionals.

Your Responsibilities
- Define and champion the short and long term online product vision; clearly define and articulate key e-commerce features and ensure alignment with overall business objectives through consensus building with key stakeholders.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs); establish key metrics to measure our e-commerce performance, identify areas for improvement, and report on progress to stakeholders.
- Constantly iterate and improve e-commerce operations to achieve operational excellence across all key metrics of e-commerce success including conversion rates, site performance, AOV, CLTV, NPS, etc.
- Collaborate with internal and external engineering and quality assurance teams to insure focus and alignment on priorities and groom the product roadmap and backlog. Keep online task tracking tools and reporting up to date with real world progress.
- Define and iterate user stories, epics and longer term roadmaps in sufficient detail and with necessary collateral for engineering teams to successfully deliver project milestones on-time and aligned with product vision and company goals.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback; collect and analyze customer data and feedback to understand our online user needs, pain points, and preferences. Collaborate and communicate with customer success team to reduce friction and increase efficiency for customers and internal teams.
- Prepare and deliver strategic and tactical presentations and communications to company executives.
- Be a thought partner to leadership on the organization's vision, priorities, challenges, and team culture.
- Other projects and initiatives as requested by the CEO.
Why You're The One We're Looking For
- You bring 5+ years of progressive experience in product management leadership at early-to-mid stage high growth e-commerce companies. You have driven quantifiable impressive results of increasing magnitude. You deeply understand DTC commerce in a complex multi-SKU environment.
- You have experience owning key e-commerce features such as product recommendation engines, shopping carts, payment, shipping & inventory systems, etc. Experience with large scale Shopify deployments a plus.
- You are informed by data. You understand how to utilize both quantitative and qualitative information to support impactful decisions and planning.
- You have excellent verbal and written skills. You write well, understand the power of storytelling, and can parse through the numbers to uncover the story within and effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
- You are a resourceful, self-driven individual. You lead through influence to collaborate and execute effectively across the organization. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are willing to get your hands dirty at a high-growth online startup brand. You are someone who figures out how to make things happen with little direction and guidance in an early stage organization.
- You have built and led teams and have a strong network of potential hires who would jump at the chance to work with you again. Your peers, reports, and management speak of their time working with you in glowing terms.
- You are results oriented with a strong focus on execution. You have a proven ability to solve ambiguous problems using frameworks and first principles.
