Job Summary and Work Environment
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist to manage and execute all aspects of online marketing content, digital merchandising, and website performance. This role will be responsible for deploying, optimizing, and analyzing content to enhance the customer experience and drive conversion rates. The ideal candidate has a strong background in eCommerce, content management, and digital merchandising, with a passion for improving website performance through data-driven insights. This position will work in an enterprise capacity assisting with GK Gymnastics, Dolfin Swimwear, and Omni Cheer. The ideal candidate must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and be self-motivated.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, new media, communications, or relevant field.
Essential Functions
- Publish digital content across several digital marketing channels in a timely manner
- Produce error-free digital content that adheres to the company’s style guidelines
- Monitor website performance, track UX-related key performance indicators (KPIs), and analyze data to drive site improvements and optimize customer experience.
- Conduct research to analyze competitive landscape, market trends, and customer behavior in as it relates to web marketing
- Coordinate & execute website updates with direction of the Sr. Marketing & eCommerce Manager
- Manage online merchandising strategies, ensuring products are displayed in a way that maximizes sales and user experience.
- Perform additional marketing duties as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
1-3 years’ experience in performing a wide variety of digital marketing functions, including eCommerce Marketing, Digital merchandising, and web content publishing.
- Expertise in eCommerce operation, knowledge of UX/UI principles for eCommerce and Digital Merchandising
- Experience with Zmags /Fastr, Shopify, Klevu or Search Spring is a plus
- Experience with a project management tool like Smartsheet a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers, management, and external agencies
- Superior computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
- Exceptional time management skills with proven ability to multi-task
- Strong project management, problem solving and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and deadline driven
