Position Overview

We are looking for an innovative and results-driven Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing strategies and scale our online businesses. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling e-commerce businesses from seven to mid-high eight figures while maintaining profitability. Experience in the home décor space is a plus. The CMO will drive digital transformation using Smart Marketer, Digital Marketer, and StoryBrand frameworks, with a focus on customer journey optimization, digital innovation, and building a high-performance marketing team or working with agencies.

This role demands an experienced leader capable of creating and executing advanced marketing strategies that boost revenue, strengthen customer loyalty, and expand Crystal Art Gallery’s presence across digital platforms. The candidate must demonstrate a proven ability to deliver high Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) and optimize other major KPIs such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Customer Value (LTV), and Conversion Rates.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Leadership

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive, data-driven marketing strategy focused on Customer Value Optimization (CVO) to increase Average Customer Value (ACV) and Lifetime Customer Value (LCV).
  1. Lead by example, actively participating in key campaigns while mentoring the marketing team on the latest strategies from Smart Marketer , Digital Marketer, and StoryBrand frameworks.
  1. Collaborate with sales, product development, and executive teams to align marketing efforts with broader business goals.
  1. Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, equipped with cutting-edge tools and knowledge to drive revenue growth.

Customer Value Optimization (CVO)

  1. Implement CVO principles across all marketing efforts, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and monetization.
  1. Develop a value ladder strategy that enhances customer engagement and loyalty, guiding them from initial purchase to high-value transactions.
  1. Create post-purchase engagement strategies to foster repeat purchases and brand loyalty.

Email Marketing & Automation

  1. Design and optimize email marketing funnels creating lead magnets to nurturing leads, drive sales, and re-engage customers.
  1. Utilize advanced segmentation and personalization techniques to deliver targeted and high-converting email campaigns.
  1. Implement automation and A/B testing to optimize email marketing performance, increasing engagement and conversion rates.

Traffic Generation & Paid Acquisition

  1. Scale omnichannel marketing campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube, TikTok, and others to drive qualified traffic.
  1. Demonstrate proven records of achieving high ROAS 4+ while managing large-scale ad budgets.
  1. Oversee content marketing and SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and enhance Crystal Art Gallery’s digital footprint.
  1. Manage social media advertising campaigns to boost both brand awareness and conversions.

Sales Funnel & Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

  1. Continuously improve landing pages and checkout experiences using CRO techniques to increase conversion rates.
  1. Conduct A/B testing to fine-tune key marketing elements and optimize performance.

Brand Development & Communication

  1. Ensure consistent and cohesive brand messaging across all channels to resonate with the target audience.
  1. Leverage storytelling to create emotionally engaging content that strengthens brand identity and customer connection.

Data-Driven Market Research & Analysis

  1. Lead market research to gain insights into customer behavior and competitive trends, using this data to refine strategies.
  1. Empower the team to utilize analytics tools like Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and Triple Whale’s reporting systems to track and measure success.
  1. Report regularly on major KPIs, including ROAS, CAC, LTV, and conversion metrics, ensuring data-driven decisions.

Team Leadership & Development

  1. Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of continuous learning through programs like Smart Marketer,  Digital Marketer, and StoryBrand certifications.
  1. Establish and monitor KPIs to drive a results-oriented marketing culture focused on revenue growth, CAC, and LTV.

Budget & Financial Oversight

  1. Manage the marketing budget to ensure resources are allocated efficiently for maximum ROI.
  1. Train the marketing team on key financial metrics, aligning marketing initiatives with business objectives.

Qualifications

  2. Hands-on experience with Smart Marketer and Digital Marketer frameworks, with a deep understanding of CVO, paid acquisition, and email marketing.

  2. Proven track record of delivering high ROAS and optimizing other major KPIs such as CAC, LTV, and conversion rates.

  1. Certifications

  2. Smart Marketer and Digital Marketer certifications are highly desirable.

  1. Leadership

  2. Experience building and leading high-performance marketing teams.

  1. Technical Skills

  2. Proficiency with tools like Google Analytics, Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Analytics, Triple Whales and other analytics platforms.
