Position Summary
A luxury jewelry company is seeking an experienced Assistant Sales Manager to lead and manage a high-performing sales team, driving daily activities and achieving sales goals. This role involves guiding clients through the fine jewelry purchasing process, surpassing team sales targets, and coordinating efforts with the Sales Manager.
Key responsibilities include overseeing team performance, managing schedules, generating leads, enhancing client engagement, and supporting outreach efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales leadership and mentoring, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a strong understanding of sales process dynamics.
This position reports to the Sales Manager, with indirect reporting to the Operations Manager and Founder/Owner.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and drive the sales team to exceed KPIs and achieve overall sales goals through innovative strategies and pursuit of high-value opportunities.
- Enhance client engagement by conducting consultations, identifying needs, and offering custom design solutions to maximize sales opportunities.
- Manage daily sales operations, ensuring efficiency, seamless execution of sales strategies, and exceptional client interactions.
- Mentor and develop the sales team through consistent coaching, focusing on cultivating top-tier talent and fostering a high-performing team environment.
- Oversee team schedules, performance, and outreach efforts to potential and existing clients, ensuring alignment with company revenue goals and core values.
- Represent the company's value propositions with professionalism and integrity, strengthening the brand image.
- Attend and support client events, meeting event expectations and fostering long-term client relationships. Take full ownership of team development by improving performance, customer engagement, and alignment with the company's culture and goals.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of sales experience, including at least 2 years in a luxury sales management role.
- Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills, with a strong understanding of sales process dynamics and outstanding interpersonal abilities.
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both clients and team members.
- Extensive knowledge of precious metals, gemstones, and fine craftsmanship is required.
- GIA Accredited Jewelry Professional (AJP) certification is preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Proficiency with sales and management platforms such as Shopify, Client Project, HubSpot, Podium, or similar systems is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Google Workspace (G Suite).
WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT
Location
Onsite in Jackson, WY
Relocation Assistance

Work Schedule
+ Tuesday through Saturday.
+ Core hours: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
+ Availability to work weekends and holidays as required to meet client and business demands.
