About The Role:

Archipelago Companies is on the hunt for a highly motivated Digital Product Manager in our Technology Department to support the explosive growth of our portfolio of brands at our Irvine, CA location.

As Digital Product Manager you will own the innovation of all web platforms and applications, develop robust technology roadmaps and innovation pipelines, and drive technology-oriented business solutions aimed at unifying the online and offline retail experience.

You will play a key role in managing our digital ecosystem, including feature development, requirements gathering, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements. This position requires an excellent knowledge of web development, Shopify, and the ability to dive into multiple projects to deliver on-time meaningful features and updates.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Manage the digital product tech stack, including Shopify and any third-party integrations or tools to create a unified, best-in-class consumer experience.
  1. Implement a DTC product roadmap for ecommerce & retail technology, Manage the develop new and improve existing user-facing features.
  1. Analyze user data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive innovation in the consumer experience.
  1. Oversee digital and technology projects pipeline, timelines, and budgets; work within an agile environment to continuously review business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones, and identify opportunities and risks.
  1. Write and manage epics/features to support internal teams, breaking them down to user stories, coordinating with various stakeholders, conducting regular grooming sessions, and performing ad-hoc testing.
  1. Ensure best practices are in place and a structure is clearly defined for features, processes, and products.
  1. Manage and maintain SOP's validating proposed features, processes, and products.
  1. Working closely with our creative team to ensure the practicality & function of designs.
  1. Serve as the first response for all technical issues regarding web platforms and applications.
  1. Oversee ADA guidelines and CCPA & GDPR compliance.
  1. Implementing third-party solutions, Front-End tracking & building functional apps.
  1. Troubleshooting bugs.
  1. Collaborate with internal & external teams.
  1. Other responsibilities as assigned.
  2. Qualifications, Skills, Experience:

  1. 5-7 years of direct digital product or technical project management responsibilities.
  1. 4+ years of web development, deployments, and releases.
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or Technology, Mathematics, Computer Science, related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
  1. Strong Experience with Shopify & Third-Party Shopify Apps.
  1. Experience in the Shopify Ecosystem including Theme development, functions, meta object management, UX, analytics, conversion rate optimization, & Markets Pro.
  1. Demonstrated ability to grasp complex financial details, technical requirements, and marketing information to develop product plans and strategies.
  1. Strong acumen for data-driven decision making, employing qualitative and quantitative measurement methodologies to accurately define and report on KPIs.
  1. Strong product management, planning, and organization skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced environment.
  1. Excellent presentation, collaboration, and communication skills.
  1. Experience leading cross-functional teams and working across multiple time zones and locations.
  1. Development experience in designing, developing, and deploying web-based products using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  1. Strong technical understanding of internet technologies, apps, and web-based analytics.
  1. Demonstrated ability to conceive and iterate product feature requirements based on data, analytics, and strategy.
  1. Ability to thoughtfully advocate for the adoption of new frameworks and methodologies.
  1. Ability to drive, motivate, support, and earn the trust of cross-functional teams.
  1. Experience defining or understanding business metrics that measure the effectiveness of systems.
  1. Extremely organized and highly motivated.
  1. Flexibility to work in a rapidly changing environment.
  2. Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with HTML, CSS & JavaScript experience required.
  1. Experience with Shopify Theme Development, Schema & API Objects.
  1. Experience with CSS, dynamic class names, and variables.
  1. Experience with Liquid and Shopify Objects.
  1. Experience with API, Postman, and Webhooks.
  1. Experience with GraphQL.
  1. Experience with AWS Lambda and Python is a Plus.
  1. Experience with GitHub, Code Review & Terminal Commands.
  1. Experience with Mobile First Design Responsive Design.
  1. General understanding of eCommerce, ADA Compliance & UX best practices.
  1. Experience with Analyzing heat map tools (Microsoft Clarity).
  1. Experience in testing responsive web design, and cross-browser testing.
  1. Proficient in Agile Methodologies, experience with Asana is a Plus.
  1. Experience in working across multiple brands and stores simultaneously.
  1. Adept at learning new technology, systems, and functionality.
  2. Location & Office Structure: This is an in-office hybrid position, mandatory 4 days per week in office in Irvine, CA with the option to work from home 1 day per week. Subject to change without notice as per company guidelines.

    Compensation: The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 plus opportunity for annual bonus; salary is based on the experience that you bring to the position.
