RESPONSIBLE FOR MANAGING MONTHLY FINANCIAL REPORTING IN A TIMELY AND ORGANIZED MANNER

  1. Prepare monthly journal entries to produce Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements, Debt Schedule, Month vs Budget, Year to Year comparison (monthly) and Capital Assets.
  1. Daily cash flow reporting.
  1. Reconcile monthly bank statements and external revenue (Shopify, Stripe, and Square) accounts.
  1. Enhance monthly financial reporting through Accounting Seed software to create reporting automation.

SUPERVISE ACCOUNTING COORDINATOR ON HANDLING ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLES, PAYABLES, DAILY, AND MONTHLY BILLINGS

  1. Oversee daily billings for Trainings, MOSSA Store (Shopify), subscriptions from MOSSA On Demand, etc.
  1. Assist in monthly licensing fee and quarterly instructor Autoship billing.
  1. Review International Distributor invoices for licensing and instructor billing along with payments.
  1. Provide weekly payables report to process payments via check, ACH, or automated billings along with posting to Positive Pay to prevent fraudulent activity.
  1. Assist in processing Affiliate Rewardful payouts.

PREPARE MONTHLY CLOSE AND YEAR END ACCOUNTS FOR TAXES

  1. Pull and post appropriate quarterly sales tax along with yearly Workman’s Compensation and General Liability audits.
  1. Prepare tax forms for Independent Contractor 1099s, Employee W2s, member investors, and other related tasks.
  1. Prepare documents according to the CPA requests.
  1. Quarterly Sales Tax Use.

RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYROLL AND HEALTH CARE OPTIONS AND BENEFITS

  1. Handle ADP payroll, monthly commission calculations for employees, including state taxes and yearly Workman’s Compensation audits.
  1. Process Independent Contractor compensation.
  1. Conduct I9 verifications for new employees and related tasks.
  1. Analyze health care options and payments for employees.
  1. 401k Benefits.

QUALIFICATIONS

BS IN ACCOUNTING OR FINANCE

  1. Three to five years’ experience with accounting software. A plus to have experience in Accounting Seed and Salesforce.
  1. Experience in Cost of Goods Sold and inventory management helpful.
  1. Strong computer skills with MS Excel (managing spreadsheets, creating charts, and using advanced formulas).
  1. Proficient in accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
  1. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  1. Team player with a great attitude.
